Frequently asked questions

How many songs are in a 45-minute set?

With songs of about 3:30 to 4 minutes and 20–30 seconds between them, usually 10 to 12. Put your lengths in and the running time tells you exactly.

How do you order a setlist?

Start with a song the band plays with confidence, avoid long runs in the same key or tempo, place a quieter moment around the middle and end with the song people came for.

Why add time between songs?

Talking, tuning, changing instruments and applause add up: 30 seconds between 12 songs is more than five minutes of your set.

Does it save my setlist?

No. It runs in your browser and nothing is sent or stored. Copy, download or print the set to keep it.
