A DAW is for producing, mixing and mastering. Zoundroom is for everything before and after: capturing ideas, writing songs and staying organized. Its multitrack editor changes the speed and pitch of a recording, adds EQ, compression and delay and records takes over it, which is enough to shape a demo; final production still happens in your DAW.
