How many bars should a verse or chorus have?

There is no required number. Four-, eight-, and sixteen-bar groupings are common, but musical function and phrasing matter more.

Does every song need a pre-chorus and bridge?

No. Add a section only when it creates a transition, contrast, or information the song actually needs.

Does the planner save my song?

No. It works in the browser and copies or downloads text. Use a song workspace if you need audio, lyrics, notes, and files to stay together.
