On the guitar neck
Every note up to the 15th fret; the root (B♭) is coloured. It sits on fret 6 of the low E string and fret 1 of the A string, the two usual starting points.
B♭ minor pentatonic contains B♭, D♭, E♭, F and A♭, the same five notes as D♭ major pentatonic. Box 1 starts at the 6th fret, in the middle of the neck, and no open string belongs to the scale. Down low, you can start from the B♭ at the 1st fret of the A string.
The B flat minor pentatonic scale has five notes: B♭ – D♭ – E♭ – F – A♭. They are the notes of B flat minor without C and G♭, the two that form semitones, which is why it rarely clashes with the chords of the key.
Tip: Loop B♭m–G♭–D♭–A♭ and start your licks from the B♭ at the 6th fret of the low E string.

It sounds right over B♭m and the other chords of B flat minor, and over a blues in B♭. The same notes make the D♭ major pentatonic.
